Hi,
I got the demo (downloading said v2.4 but the file says 2.3), and I use it in Cubase 10. The sound is fantastic (to say the least), but there's a strange "choppy" quirkyness to my playing. I believe this is due to a bug, something wrong with the release.
It's very easy to notice when setting long releases. I notice two oddities: 1. If I play a single note, release it (sound fades slowly) and play a new one before the fade ends, the previous sound is abrubtly ended. 2. If I play multiple notes, and release them, only one of those notes fades out during the set timespan. The rest of the notes end abruptly.
Could this be due to Cubase, or is it the plugin?
I have not noticed any problems with other plugin's releases.
But the ME80 is very hard to listen to this way. It's hard to imagine this was not noticed before.
Thanks for any feedback! Dennis

For the record, the same behaviour happens in the Cantabile lite environment.... x64 version, the normal (not big) screen.

The original yamaha CS80 is like this. It is sustain2 mode on the lower part of the GUI. You can switch it back to sustain1 mode with the sustain mode switch.
All the best gunnare

Confirmed. It seems to be set like this in all presets. But glad to get this out of the way. Thanks so much!
